Mold does not forgive, if the conditions allow it, it creeps everywhere: on the walls, tiles, books, furniture, fabrics! Mold on fabrics is certainly one of those most stubborn and unpleasant stains to fight, especially if it is a garment we care about in particular. There are several remedies to get rid of stains mold on fabrics but since we are talking about delicate fabrics it is good to take the right precautions depending on the type.
Mold on the fabrics, colorful and delicate
We can use perborate against mold stains on colored and delicate products. Just soak the items to be treated in hot water at 40 ° C, add a scoop of perborate and leave it to act overnight. Wash the garment the next day as usual.
PLEASE NOTE: if the items stained with mold have metal buttons or other similar applications, it will not be possible to use perborate as it could ruin them. In this case you will have to put coarse salt on the stain and wet it with lemon juice. Leave it on for a couple of hours then wash the garment as usual.
Stains of mold on fabrics, wool
Against mold stains on wool garments we can use baking soda, our ally ever! To proceed, simply rub the stain with a solution composed of hot water and bicarbonate in the measure of 5 tablespoons of bicarbonate for every 500 ml of water.
If it is a colored wool garment, we can also use white vinegar. To proceed, just sprinkle a little pure white vinegar on the mold spot and leave it to act for at least half an hour. Rinse the garment with plenty of water and wash as usual.
Stains of mold on cloth shoes
